What Lumo Loans is
Lumo Loans is a free referral and enquiry service that helps South Africans see whether they may qualify with our registered lending partners. We are not a credit provider and we do not make loan decisions.
What using the site means
Completing our form is an enquiry — not a loan application in the legal sense, and not a loan offer. Being matched with a credit provider is not a guarantee of approval. Any loan is subject to the individual provider's own criteria, affordability assessment, and the requirements of the National Credit Act.
Your obligations
- You confirm that the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter a credit agreement in South Africa
- You agree that we may share your enquiry with registered lenders or brokers who may be able to help — subject to the consent choices you make
What we don't guarantee
We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't guarantee a match, a specific outcome, a specific interest rate, a specific amount, same-day payout, or uninterrupted service. Your use of the site is at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, Lumo Loans is not liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of using the site or acting on information you find on it. Any loan agreement is between you and the credit provider — not between you and Lumo Loans.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
